Green Park is a New Delhi-based band that brings a fresh perspective to indie music. The band members, Arpan Kumar, Sidharth Gupta, Rishabh Bhan Singh create intricate soundscapes that take the listeners on a journey of self-discovery.

Debut LP 'Newly Aged', Out Now.

Green Park have released their debut LP “Newly Aged” on March 23rd 2024. The album features extensive collaborations with several prominent Indian and international musicians including Grammy-nominated sarod player Sashank Navaladi, jazz saxophonist William Schade, singer-songwriter Amartya Ghosh, pianists Pranay Parti and Omree Gal-Oz, trumpeter Kartik Pillai, vocalist Kunwar Tanishque Jarial and many others. “Newly Aged” explores the complexities of transitioning into adulthood and the emotions that come with it, from fear and uncertainty to joy and excitement. The album also addresses the band’s confused cultural identity in a post-colonial India, and the loss of romance and newness as one grows older.

Green Park's music is characterized by words that tackle both - the big questions, and the little things in life alike. Their debut EP "All My Pictures Have Grown Smiles" has received widespread critical acclaim from various reputed publications such as The Wild City, A Humming Heart, Open Close Mag. India’s leading independent music publication Rock Street Journal highlighted the EP as a contender for “Debut of the Year”. The unusual and ambitious arrangements, as well as the production and mixing, have received particular praise. The EP was also mastered by Grammy-nominated mastering engineer Andrew Garver.

Arpan Kumar

Arpan Kumar has an extensive background in music, having played bass in Dee En and performed at several music festivals across India. He is a guitar teacher, and has also been featured in a documentary series chronicling his band's journey through the seven states of North East India. He is currently also a member of Dohnraj and the Peculiars.

Sidharth Gupta

Sidharth Gupta has worked with Grammy-winning producer JJ Blair (The Who, Johnny Cash). He is also a part of electronica duo Shoals and Dohnraj and the Peculiars, and has performed at music festivals across India. He has also worked as a music composer and mixing engineer for short films, theater, ads and documentaries.

Rishabh Bhan Singh

Rishabh Bhan Singh is a versatile instrumentalist, professional audio engineer, sound designer, photographer, videographer, botany enthusiast, and everything in between. They also release experimental electronic music under the alias Sirf Paudhon Se Pyaar, and occasionally do live sound design for theatre.

The members of Green Park bring a wealth of experience and expertise to the table. The band benefits from having members who are experienced audio engineers and can ensure that the music is produced and mixed to the highest standard.
